Back in my PR days I averaged a bag or two of wheat thins a day (seriously, ask Chef Coley!), so when I got an opportunity to taste the new, Sweet Cinnamon Wheat Thins, you can bet I jumped at the chance. After opening the box, we were welcomed by a Cinnamony, Cinnemon Toast Crunch odor, but oh how would they taste??

With my first bite I could tell these Sweet Cinnamon Wheat Thins these were no ordinary Wheat Thins. In fact, start to finish there was almost no standard “Wheat Thins” taste, but instead had a very subtle sugary sweetness followed by a Cinnamon finish.

Each cracker was evenly coated and had a nice, natural looking brown cinnamon seasoning on it. As someone who generally dislikes Cinnamon (I hate Big Red!), I was very happy with the amount and the fact that they were true to the “sweet” part of the name.

Like their standard cousins, these limited edition Wheat Thins were packed into a box and definitely provide value for money in terms of the amount you get in a box. The main area I would say where they were lacking would be that the taste seemed to fade a bit too fast for our liking.

If you are looking for a holiday snack that goes great with egg-nogg, definitely add Sweet Cinnamon Wheat Thins to your shopping list.
